The following planning points should be given consideration.

    •     It is important that advisers know how MTIC fraud works and the main goods used by the fraudsters. This is not only to ensure they do not act for fraudulent companies – but also to advise innocent traders of the potential risks of receiving goods in a fraudulent supply chain.
