Press Release

LexisNexis Taxation Awards 2010 Winners Announced

16 Winners Recognised for Excellence Across the Profession by UK's Leading Tax Awards

London, 25 May, 2010 - LexisNexis, (, a leading provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, today announced the winners of its Taxation Awards 2010. Established as the 'gold standard' of the tax world, these awards were presented at a prestigious gala ceremony in London attended by more than 650 guests from the tax world.

The awards, now in their 10th year, honour organisations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of taxation, whether in practice or in commerce, commending both individuals and teams.

Mike Truman, Editor of Taxation Magazine, said: "The Taxation Awards celebrate excellence within our profession, and the judges had the unenviable task of trying to pick the best from a field of very high calibre entrants. All our finalists have been selected by the judges as they illustrate the best in innovation, client service and dedication to our profession. They should feel proud of their exceptional achievements, which have been recognised by their peers and judged by a highly discerning panel."

At the black-tie event held at the London Hilton Park Lane, 16 awards were presented. Individual awards include: Tax writer of the year, Tax personality of the decade, and Taxation's rising star. Team awards include: Best general tax practice, Best tax team in a large firm, and Best in-house tax firm.
