Press Release

LexisNexis LexisLibrary Online Offering

Commitment continues to authoritative Butterworths and Tolley brands

LONDON 24 April 2009 - LexisNexis, a leading global provider of information and workflow solutions, has changed the name of its LexisNexis® Butterworths (LNB) legal library service to Lexis®Library, while continuing its commitment to the nearly 200 year old Butterworths brand. The LexisLibrary name change will have no impact on the functionality or content of the online database service. LexisNexis has renamed LexisNexis Butterworths (LNB) to LexisLibrary as part of the consistent naming structure for core components of the new Lexis® Legal Intelligence offering that was launched earlier this month. The other components in Lexis Legal Intelligence are Lexis®PSL, Lexis®Learning and Lexis®Applications.

LexisLibrary is an unrivalled source of insight, comment, primary law, rule, regulation and procedure. It is the most up-to-date statement and explanation of the law and practice, where professionals find guaranteed current information, resources and expert opinion from established names such as Butterworths, Tolley and Halsbury's. For legal practitioners, LexisLibrary is fully integrated into the Lexis Legal Intelligence modular system offering, launched earlier this month, which brings together relevant knowledge, guidance and training into the workflow of a modern law practice.

LexisNexis continues to be committed to the Butterworths and Tolley brands, which during their long histories have come to stand for authoritative, comprehensive and expert commentary on legal and tax maters.
