Tier 5 (Creative and Sporting) Certificate of Sponsorship—checklist

The following Immigration precedent provides comprehensive and up to date legal information covering:

  • Tier 5 (Creative and Sporting) Certificate of Sponsorship—checklist

Information required

The following information will assist us to complete a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) on the Sponsorship Management System, if relevant.

We will advise you separately on other aspects of eligibility. For sportspeople this will include obtaining endorsement from the relevant Home Office recognised sports governing body. For creative artists in dance, theatre or film and television, or models in the fashion industry this will include complying with the relevant Codes of Practice. For creative artists in all other cases the CoS entry will need to confirm that the position could not have been filled by a settled worker.

The CoS also asks for personal and passport details but these are requested in the entry clearance or leave to remain checklists so are not duplicated below. Please note that the information used to generate the CoS must match the migrant’s personal details as recorded on their passport.
