These drafting notes are for use when completing a tenant’s request for a new business tenancy under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. It is good practice to serve the notice in duplicate and ask the receiving party to endorse and return the duplicate copy to acknowledge receipt.
Ensure that the notice is served by, and on, the correct parties.
