        Publicity in relation to our firm or any other business must be accurate and not misleading or likely to diminish the trust the public places in solicitors and in the provision of legal services.

        Clients and the public must have appropriate information about us, our firm and how we are regulated.

        This Publicity policy sets out requirements relating to publicity, information on how we will comply with those requirements and guidance for staff on their obligations and required behaviours.

      What is publicity?

        Publicity includes, but is not limited to:

          all promotional material and activity, including the name or description of the firm;

          stationery;

        1. 2.1.3

          advertisements;

        1. 2.1.4

          brochures;

        1. 2.1.5

          websites;

        1. 2.1.6

          directory entries;

        1. 2.1.7

          media appearances;

        1. 2.1.8

          promotional press releases (excluding press releases prepared on behalf of a client);

          direct approaches to potential clients and other persons, whether in person, in writing, or in electronic form;
