      On 2 December 2014 the Claimant was a pedestrian walking along High Street, London E18.

      The First Defendant was the driver of an Opel registered in Germany with number [registration number]. The First Defendant was driving north along High Street.

      The Claimant went to cross High Street near to the junction with Croydon Road. The Claimant crossed the two nearside lanes, then the central line and the first of the offside lanes when he was struck by the First Defendant’s Opel, in consequence of which he sustained the injury, loss and damage set out below.
