      As you are aware, a dispute has arisen between our clients regarding the performance of various obligations under the licensing and marketing agreement made between our clients and dated 10 October 20XX (the Contract). We attach a copy of the Contract for your reference.

      Pursuant to clause 15 of the Contract, the parties agreed that all disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contract should be determined by a sole arbitrator. The clause further specifies that the sole arbitrator must be a practising QC at the English bar who specialises in engineering disputes.
