IP analysis: In a follow-up application by UEFA for a blocking order under section 97A of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988, the High Court has extended the live blocking order to cover the 2018/2019 season. Slight adjustments were made to the order. Additional UEFA competitions were added, the court enlarged the subset of infringing streaming servers to be blocked, and the requirement to notify hosting providers that one of their IP addresses was subject to blocking was made subject to a short delay.
