Information Law analysis: This is one of the first cases to refer to the Trade Secrets (Enforcement, etc) Regulations 2018, SI 2018/597 (the Trade Secrets Regulations). The court analysed the duty of two contractors to not disclose confidential information from their previous employer, finding that both were in breach of contractually implied and equitable duties of confidence owed to their former employer and that the business to which they had passed information was liable for accepting the same.
