Practice Compliance analysis: The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) published its Risk Outlook for 2020/21 on 23 November 2020. The SRA Risk Outlook sets out the SRA’s view of the key risks and challenges facing firms over the next 12 months. It identifies seven priority risks—money laundering, client money, diversity, information and cyber security, integrity and ethics, meeting legal needs and standards of service. All of the priority risks have been heightened by, and need to be viewed against the backdrop of, rapid change and uncertainty in the legal market, mainly as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
