Pensions analysis: In the determination by the Pensions Ombudsman of Mr L (PO-18149), the Pensions Ombudsman upheld a complaint brought by an employee who had been the subject of two TUPE transfers where the transferee employers in both cases had failed to establish appropriate replacement pension provision for him as required under the pension protection legislation applicable to such transfers.
