Law 360, London: Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras said on Thursday that it will pay $853.2m in penalties to the DOJ to end a US probe into a multibillion-dollar bribery scheme by former company executives, with 20% of the settlement going to the US and the rest going to a fund in Brazil. Petrobras hasalso agreed to pay a total of $933m in disgorgement and prejudgment interest in a related SEC matter.
