MLex: Pension funds and insurance companies in the UK have been issued a revised stewardship code by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), which requires signatories to produce an annual report on stewardship activity and outcomes. The new code, which will take effect in January 2020, is designed to protect savers and pensioners by ensuring their money is responsibly managed.
