Law360, London: Mrs Justice Cockerill, in the Commercial Court, upheld an order enforcing a €1.56m ($US 1.68m) International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitral award issued by a Swiss-seated tribunal against rail giant Alstom, finding there was inconclusive evidence that the company inadvertently financed bribery in China. Among other matters, the court declined to find that enforcement of the award was contrary to public policy.
