The Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) has published a joint report with Universities UK International and Kaplan International Pathways in collaboration with London Economics, titled ‘The benefits and costs of international higher education students to the UK economy’. The report has found that the economic benefit of international students rose from £31.3bn to £41.9bn between 2018–19 and 2021–22, with international students providing a total net benefit of £37.4bn to the UK economy.
