This week’s edition of Energy highlights includes significant developments in the Capacity Market (CM) with the publication by Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) of its response to consultation pertaining to the necessary technical and legislative changes required, and to be put into effect, to enable to continued operation of the scheme during the current ‘standstill period’ following the suspension of the CM on state aid grounds and the new Capacity Market (Amendment) Rules 2019.
