Planning analysis: The High Court has dismissed a judicial review of a decision to grant planning permission for the relocation of various facilities for the Sizewell B nuclear power station in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). It found that there had been no unlawful failure to consider the need for, and alternatives to, the proposal for the purposes of para 172 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) in addressing whether there were exceptional circumstances to justify development.
