The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government has updated its guidance for the safe use of places of worship, religious gatherings and small marriages/civil partnerships during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, following the lockdown in England. Small marriages and civil partnerships are now only possible where one of the people getting married is ill and is not expected to recover and are limited to six people, excluding anyone working at the ceremony. Places of worship are now open only for limited purposes.
