Lexcel is the Law Society's practice management standard. It is not compulsory, although Lexcel accreditation can be helpful for firms wishing to be accredited under the Conveyancing quality scheme or the Legal Services Board's Specialist Quality Mark (SQM).

This Practice Note identifies specific Precedents within Practice Compliance and Practice Management you could use or adapt to comply with the requirements of Lexcel v6.1.
