The Order amends the Plant Health (Forestry) Order 2005, which contains measures to prevent the introduction and spread of harmful tree pests and diseases. The Order also implements EU plant health legislation in relation to England and Scotland, and introduces a scheme requiring all consignments of solid fuel wood to be notified to the Forestry Commission prior to their landing in England and Scotland.
