Changes from 1 April 2013

The amending SI 2012/3089 reflects changes in legislation, case law and procedure. The statutory obligation set out in section 69 of the Courts Act 2003 requires that the Rules Committee make rules which govern Criminal Procedure both simple and simply expressed. A summary of these changes is as follows.
