In August 2017 the government published its response to its green paper on corporate governance reform. The response paper proposed a number of corporate governance reforms, including a revised UK Corporate Governance Code, new reporting obligations under the Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018 and the Wates Corporate Governance Principles for Large Private Companies.
