Assembling your data

Ideally you will have agreed with a firm the format in which it provides work-in-progress updates on the matters it is handling for you. This should serve as a simple means of tracking:

  1. what work has been done

  2. who did it

  3. what it cost

If you don’t have this ready-made, you need to assemble (or encourage the firm to assemble as a complimentary client care exercise) this information.

Review agenda

Share with the firm what you would like to cover in advance of the session. A sample agenda might include:

  1. what you liked

    1. the firm’s suggestions as to how that can be reinforced

  2. your assessment of whether the firm
