Note that the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020 provides that references to exit day in the commencement provisions of statutory instruments (SIs) made under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and relevant enactments are to be read as references to implementation period (IP) completion day (ie 31 December 2020), unless that provision is expressly disapplied.
