What does Early Years Foundation Stage mean?
The learning, welfare and development requirements for children in childcare or education during their 'early years' (from the age of 3 to reaching compulsory school age).
Some children over 2 years old and all children over 3 are entitled to some Early Years Foundation Stage education free of charge until reaching compulsory school age.
