Chris Taylor

Chris is a commercially driven environmental consultant with over 15 years' experience in the property, financial, legal and insurance markets and a strong track record of delivering innovative due diligence solutions. He has particular expertise in environmental data and risk management, both in the UK and abroad. He started his career at Groundsure, prior to starting the specialist consultancy Argyll Environmental in 2004. Following its acquisition by Landmark Information Group, he managed their Legal Division before concentrating on international work with a particular focus on South Africa and The Netherlands. He became accredited as a Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) in 2011. He has written articles examining environmental risks published in EA Magazine, Solicitors Journal, Chronicle for Licensed Conveyancers, The Legal Executive and the book Environmental Auditing (February 2000; co-author of Chapter 22, 'Information Sources and Environmental Reports, Contaminated Land,' 2nd edn 2008, Stephen Tromans, QC and Robert Turrall-Clarke). He is also a contributor to Environmental Law in Property Transactions (3rd edn, Andrew Waite et al)
