Robert Rennie

Graduated LLB in 1967 from University of Glasgow and thereafter undertook part time research leading to a Ph.D. relating to the floating charge in Scots Law in 1972. Apprentice then Assistant with the former firm of Bishop Milne Boyd & Co, Glasgow (now represented by Brodies) 1967-1972; Assistant then Partner in Ballantyne & Copland, Solicitors, Motherwell 1972-2002; Partner in Harper Macleod, Solicitors, Shetland, Thurso, Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow 2002-Present; Professor of Conveyancing, in the University of Glasgow 1992-2014; awarded Honorary Fellowship of the University of Glasgow in 2014; member Property Law Reform Sub-committee, Law Society of Scotland.
