Helen Kavanagh

Helen was the Restructuring & Insolvency PSL at Squire Patton Boggs for 7 years. She wrote precedents and delivered training for the R&I team. She also monitored developments in the insolvency field and networked with the professional support lawyers in other practice groups as well as other firms. Prior to that, she worked as the Restructuring & Insolvency PSL at Eversheds for 8 years. Before becoming a professional support lawyer, Helen worked as a transactional lawyer in private practice for 17 years.

Helen was a licensed insolvency practitioner following passing the JIEB exams in 1992 and a registered property receiver. She is a fellow of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, where she is active locally in Yorkshire and nationally and sat on the Membership and Member Services Committee and the Yorkshire Regional committee, organising the R3 Northern Conference. She was a fellow of the Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers and a member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association, Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
