(6)     Employees of foreign states and diplomats

Employees of a foreign state may be faced with a plea of state immunity under the State Immunity Act 1978 in respect of any claim in a British Court or tribunal. This is in any case subject to important limitations set out in the State Immunity Act 1978 s 4, but the effect of the Supreme Court's decision in Benkharbouche v Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs [2017] UKSC 62,
