(4)     Objecting to working additional hours on Sundays

A new right is given by ERA 1996 s 41A, as inserted by the Enterprise Act 2016 Sch 5, to object to working additional hours on Sundays, by giving written notice to his or her employer. This right, when in force, will apply only to shop workers (including shop workers in Scotland), not to betting shop workers.
