(4)     Contracting out

By virtue of WTR SI 1998/1833 reg 35, any provision in an agreement (whether a contract of employment or not) is void insofar as it purports to exclude or limit the operation of any of the provisions of the Regulations, or preclude a person from bringing proceedings before an employment tribunal.
