E.     Loss of the right to a guarantee payment

The employee may lose his right to a guarantee payment on either of two grounds: (i) he has unreasonably refused an offer of suitable alternative work; or (ii) he has failed to comply with his employer's reasonable requirements to ensure his services remain available (ERA 1996 s 29(4), (5)).
