C.     Job advertisements

Apart from the need to ensure that job advertisements correctly and accurately describe the vacancy to avoid later contractual disputes, it is in relation to discrimination legislation that most care needs to be exercised in framing them. Job advertisements are not specifically covered by the Equality Act 2010 but were previously covered by RRA 1976 s 29, SDA 1975 s 38, DDA 1995 s 16B, the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003 SI 2003/1660 reg 6, the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003
