(2)     EU GDPR

The EU GDPR is an EU regulation and it is no longer directly applicable to the UK. However, EU GDPR has extra-territorial effect and applies to organisations that operate in Europe, offer goods or services to individuals in Europe, or monitor the behaviour of individuals in Europe. Therefore, depending on their activities UK employers may need to comply with both the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
