B.     Who has the right?

An employee who is or was employed under a fixed-term contract. 'Fixed-Term Contract' is defined by the FTE Regs SI 2002/2034 reg 1(2) as a contract of employment which will, in the normal course, terminate either (a) on expiry of a specific term (b) on completion of a particular task, or (c) on the occurrence or non-occurrence of any other specific event (aside, that is, from the employee reaching the normal and bona fide retirement age for the establishment where the employee works).
