548. Successive interests generally.

Special provisions1 apply where two or more absolute2 or limited interests3 in the whole or part of the residue of an estate are held successively during the administration period4 even where one is not held immediately before or after the other5.

Such apportionments as are just and reasonable are to be made for the purposes of the special provisions if the part of a residuary estate in which an interest
