989. Limited exceptions to deemed transfer on death.

Provided the specified conditions are satisfied, there are a limited number of statutory exceptions to deemed transfer on death, for example where the death is of a member of the armed forces of the Crown on active service against an enemy, where emergency service personnel, armed forces personnel and humanitarian aid workers die as a result of responding to an emergency, and where police constables and armed service personnel die as a result of being attacked due to their status
