The digital services tax ('DST') is a 2% tax on the revenues of large digital businesses including search engines, social media services and online marketplaces which derive value from UK users1. The DST applies only to groups of companies whose worldwide revenue from digital activities exceeds £500 million and with more than £25 million of such revenues deriving from UK users
