67. Regulation of agents in football.

Agents in football are regulated by regulations made by both the Football Association ('FA')1 and FIFA2. The Football League, although not the FA Premier League, also regulates the activities of agents who deal with Football League clubs or players3. The FIFA regulations require that players and clubs can deal only with a registered intermediary4 in respect of concluding an employment contract or transfer agreements5. Before an intermediary can be registered, the relevant national association must be satisfied that the intermediary involved has an impeccable reputation and that the intermediary has no contractual relationship with leagues, associations, confederations or FIFA
