65. Minor's contracts in football.

Players under 18 years of age who are in full-time education may not enter into a written contract of employment with a club in membership of the Football Association (FA) or an affiliated association1, and players under 17 years of age may not enter into a written contract of employment with an FA affiliated club (or a club in membership of or an affiliated association) save under the FA 'scholarship scheme'2. Players under 18 years of age are not permitted to sign a professional contract which has a term of longer than three years
