The Sports Grounds Safety Authority1 may, on an application duly made by a responsible person2, grant a licence to admit spectators3 to any premises for the purpose of watching any designated football match played at those premises4. An application for a licence in respect of any premises must be made in such manner, in such form and accompanied by such fee as may be determined by the Secretary of State5. A licence to admit spectators must be in writing and must be granted on such terms and conditions as the licensing authority considers appropriate6. It must be a condition
