137. Amendment, replacement, cancellation and transfer of certificates.

The local authority1 may, in any case in which it appears appropriate to it to do so, amend a safety certificate2 by notice3 in writing to its holder4, or replace a safety certificate5, and must amend a safety certificate if it appears to the authority that it would require a person to contravene any provision of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 20056 or regulations made under it7.
