129. Alcohol on other vehicles.

A person who knowingly causes or permits alcohol1 to be carried on a motor vehicle2 which is not a public service vehicle3 but is adapted to carry more than eight passengers4, and is being used for the principal purpose of carrying two or more passengers for the whole or part of a journey to or from a designated sporting event5, is guilty of an offence6:


    (1)     if he is the driver7; or


    (2)     if he is not its driver but is its keeper
