The notification period for a person in respect of whom the notification requirements arise1:
(1) in the case of a person who, in respect of the offence, is or has been sentenced to imprisonment for life, imprisonment for public protection2 or imprisonment for a term3 of 30 months or more, is an indefinite period beginning with the relevant date4;
(2) in the case of a person who, in respect of the offence or finding, is or has been admitted to a hospital5 subject to a restriction order6, is an indefinite period beginning with the relevant date7;
