168. Revocation and extension.

Where, having regard to circumstances which have arisen since a youth offender contract took effect1, it appears to the youth offender panel2 to be in the interests of justice for the referral order3 (or each of the referral orders) to be revoked, the panel may refer the offender back to the appropriate court4 requesting it:


    (1)     to exercise only the power5 to revoke the order (or each of the orders)6; or


    (2)     to exercise both the power to revoke the order (or each of the orders) and the power7 to deal with the offender for the offence in respect
