72. Powers of home courts.

Where a community order1 is made or amended2 so as to take effect in Scotland or Northern Ireland the home court3 may exercise in relation to the order any power which it could exercise in relation to the corresponding order4 made by a court in the part of the United Kingdom5 in which the home court exercises jurisdiction, by virtue of the legislation relating to such orders which has effect in that part, except the following:


    (1)     any power to discharge or revoke the order (other than a power to revoke the order where the offender has been convicted
