479. Power to specify hospital units.

Any power to specify a hospital conferred by the provisions relating to hospital orders¹, to hospital and limitation directions² and to transfer directions³ includes power to specify a hospital unit⁴; and where such a unit is specified in relation to any person in the exercise of such a power, any reference in any enactment⁵ to him being, or being liable to be, detained in a hospital is to be construed accordingly
