The Secretary of State1 may order that persons of any class specified in the order who are serving a sentence of imprisonment2, other than3:
(1) imprisonment for life4, imprisonment for public protection5 or an extended sentence6; or
(2) imprisonment to which they were sentenced: (a) for an excluded offence7; (b) for attempting to commit such an offence8; (c) for conspiracy to commit such an offence9; or (d) for aiding or abetting, counselling, procuring or inciting the commission of such an offence10; or
(3) imprisonment to which they were sentenced for an offence of criminal conduct under the Armed Forces
