DBS1 must, in response to a request from a person who is acting as the registered person2 in relation to an application3 for a criminal record certificate or an enhance criminal record certificate, inform that person whether or not a certificate has been issued in response to the application4. If, at the time such a request is made, a certificate has been issued, then:
(1) in the case of a criminal record certificate5, if it was a certificate stating that there is no relevant matter6 recorded in central records7, DBS may inform the person who made the request that
